The Lan-Oak Park
Foundation was formed to assist the Lan-Oak Park District of
Lansing, Illinois, in
its endeavors to provide programs and facilities for the community,
while at the same time allowing the Park District to use available tax
dollars for the operation and upkeep of the parks. In today’s world,
government agencies need to look at alternative means of financing
projects and special programs. The Foundation provides one way for this
to happen. The Foundation has been very instrumental in the District

Lansing Park Plaza
The Foundation is
raising funds to create Lansing Park Plaza on a strip of prime
unused land in the center of town. Proposed features include:
- Grand Pavilion
- Bandshell
- Clock Tower
- Pergola Shade
Structure
- Splash Pad
